Christina Milian Is Hunted In Kia Rio’s Scavenger Hunt

Kia Rio has been coming up with some great marketing stunts, and their latest Zip and Dash Los Angeles to find Christina Milian with two pairs of best friends on a wild scavenger hunt was pretty fun and smart. Plus it really shows off what this 5-door car can do!

Kia Rio knows how to tap into a market as they showed with their last marketing even the ‘Best Songs With the Windows Down‘ campaign that we all took part in here. Miss Sashay already owns one so it was easy to talk highly of this as it’s pretty awesome with everything that comes with it. Plus it’s a killer price for what you get! Now, with everyone always wanting to meet celebs, Kia Rio went one step further and got them to work for it rather than just hand Christina Milian over. She don’t come cheap, and these two pairs of friends get put through the motions to get to hang out with her. A little bit like ‘The Amazing Race‘. The two sets of friends get to try out all the amazing functions of the car from the latest Bluetooth system to it’s very innovatice USB jack input. These I’ve gotten to experience firsthand riding with Miss Sashay, and I have to admit they are very impressive.

So the two sets of friends get to go head to head with challenges that will wind up with one of them getting to meet Christina Milian first. I love the way the scavenger hunt has been arranged since it gets people who’ve not been to LA to see the fun spots that most people only see on tv or in the movies. This was a nice surprise for Brad and Britney hailing from Ohio to see what West Coast life is life. Leonard and Gina live in an even more beautiful city so they were slumming a little. It also gives them a chance to test drive a car they might not have even though of buying before and find out all the hidden treasures buried deep inside. Until I had ridden with Miss Sashay, I wouldn’t have thought about buying one either, but now that we’re needing to buy an additional car, it’s looking like this wil be the one. The first challenge is for them to go to the Griffith Park Merry Go Round, and as you can see above, use cubes to figure out how to get to the next clue. Brad was adorable trying to look cute for the camera while Britney did the work. This one actually seems to be the most challenging of them all right off the bat.

The next challenge is to find a hidden Christina Milian cd at world famous Amoeba Records. I thought this one would be a challenge but good ole Brad hunted it down while still making sure the camera captured his youthful looks while Britney was running like a madwoman all over the warehouse store. You’ll find this part amusing as the women are running crazy and the guys just stroll around and find the treasure.

The guys seemed to have a little slower time with the next challenge that required them to count palm trees on Rodeo Drive. It wasn’t even that they got distracted by the surroundings, they were trying so hard I had to just say ‘bless em’ for straining their eyes and brains so much. I think the adrenaline was really kicking in as you can see in the image below of our Brad.

Kia Rio knew that by now the hunger would be setting in for Brad and Leonard so the next stop was to the best hotdog joint in the world Pink’s! If you’ve not had one of their dogs, you are truly missing out. The challenge was to clean their plate, and Brad definitely looks like the kind of man who can take a big dog down his throat quick and he did it. Naturally to meet Christian Milian, but when the excited look in his eye when he saw the girth on that hotdog said it all. Leonard was right behind him while the girls daintily ate theirs. After that the race was on to the Hotel Roosevelt penthouse to meet the lady and the couples hauled butt up the stairs and everyone gleefully hugged afterward for a nice happy ending. Brad was doing his giddy jump up an down too.

I’ll let you watch the video below to find out who one, but the coolest parts are seeing all the tech geeks aspects of the car which you’ll love. There’s so much hands free, it’s great so you can only image what all Brad will be doing with his free hands in this car.

Naturally this got us thinking of which celebrity we’d go through this for, and there’s not that many. Cheryl definitely would do it for Brad Pitt (obvious!), Miss Sashay for Adam Levine and George for any female actress who would be game enough for it. I would love the Kia Rio Zip and Dash to be in Rome or London as I’d be really game for that one.
