UPDATED: Christina Aguilera Angers More ‘The Voice’ Fans Again & Wrath Of Blake Shelton

Christina Aguilera is on a roll again making fans scratch their heads on ‘The Voice‘. Last week she went after Adam Levine’s boy Tony Lucca and tonight she shocked everyone by kicking off fan and other judge favorite Jesse Campbell. Is she going 2011 all over again?

Adam Levine told Jesse Campbell that he was a “huge, huge favorite” to win the entire competition, but mentor Christina Aguilera decided he wasn’t ‘The Voice‘ for her after all. Fans are definitely a little surprised by Aguilera’s comments and decisions the past week with Tony Lucca and now Campbell. Levine looked as visibly shocked with Campbell’s dismissal as last week’s Lucca tirade.

We’ve had readers commenting since the show, and here’s some of the tirade that’s being felt towards the mentor. These are longtime readers and huge fans of the show and Aguilera.

PS – You should probably have chosen an alternative wardrobe choice in that you invited a HIGH SCHOOL GOSPEL CHOIR to back you up?????? “Christina is obviously crazy..she sent the only good singer on her team go..it was her choice completely and she destroyed her chances..It seems like since she’s getting $10 million while the other judges get less, she’s feeling a little superior and acting like she owns the show. Honey, after your mess ups from last year, that show saved your career and made you relevant. You’re just showing your ass to the world and we’re losing interest rather quickly!!!!”

This is a singing competition Christina not personality or what ever you are going through. It is no reason you should have eliminated Him. Because of Christina the Voice has lost a lot of viewers including me and my family. Christina get another job you need to do something else just sing. Jesse Campbel is truly the best singer of the competition.”

“I don’t mean to offend anybody but… Can someone explain to me what she sees on Lindsey Pavao? She kept praising her and praising her, and was very indifferent towards Jesse. According to her little speech before she booted him, saying: “some people are more willing to listen”, it was obvious that he had personality and didn’t want to do everything she said. So… she is extremely egocentric to let that happen. She is the only “coach” that never puts her singers first, it has to be all about her, and her giant fake boobs, etc!”

Even I was just shocked when she said Campbell’s name, and it’ll be interesting to see how America votes for the remaining ones of Blake Shelton’s and Aguilera’s team. Shelton’s favorite country singer RaeLynn has got the site Vote For The Worst on her side to keep her on the show. Shelton’s been very protective of his young boot stomping singer and takes to his Twitter account to fire off missives to people who don’t agree. Below is an amusing example of his wrath. This came from an actual fan of his who was just asking a simple question too.

 

UPDATED: Those Blake Shelton fans can lash out quick as this poor fan got their account temporarily suspended, but it’s back up again.  Love freedom of speech when it’s so one sided!  Here’s what they had to say.

So, we’ll see what antics Ms. Aguilera gets herself up for next week. I will say that she is the one judge I wouldn’t really want to have as my mentor as Adam Levine and Blake Shelton seem to be the biggest supporters of their singers. Aguilera allowed her kids to sing a little bit of her song while Shelton took the background and let his people shine. He’s a proud papa that you don’t want to cross!

I was in total shock when Christina eliminated Jesse. What was she thinking? I cannot help but think that it may have been something "personal" against him for some reason, And if so, how highly unprofessional on her behalf!!! I don't mind watching this show but I could do without Christina!! she kinda gives a bad vibe of "I'm better then everyone else". And yes, I noticed her odd towards behavior and body language directed towards Justine beiber! she looked annoyed or maybe even jealous of the attention given to him?? sigh! If she was gone I would probably watch more often!!!

Not sure if this was a publicity stunt or what. Christina made a fool of herself and The Voice. She cut the most talented person on the show, what a joke. Maybe it wasn't a stunt, maybe she was intimitated because Jesse sings better than her. We are NOT watching the Voice any more in this house and throwing all the "CA" CD's in the trash. Total BS, Shame, Shame, Shame!!!

That's what Jesse gets for picking a white, blond, busty singer instead of CeeLo Green. I was shocked when he picked Christina. I guess he thought that he could woo her in a way that he couldn't convince CeeLo Green. Well, it didn't work, brother! CeeLo would have been there for you, but you can't trust someone like Christina. She's kind of wacky. I would never have picked her for a mentor. So, Jesse, what did you learn?

ya'll lookin dumb for bashing Christina. Jesse isn't the only contestant who doesn't have a fan base. It's a hard situation to try to eliminate one of her four diverse singers has has something different to offer. Team Ashley!

I love Jesse & I think he's amazing but in reality, this show isn't mainly on the voice. To be big in the industry you have to have a certain "look," & I'm not saying Jesse is unattractive but he's past his prime. I think Christina let him go b/c she know a younger face will go far from the competition. Has any of you heard from Xavier Colon (1st season winner)? I bet not. Talent isn't everything in the industry. Rihanna is a prime example... Let's also keep in mind that Christina turned FIRST for Jesse during the blind auditions.

Christina's choice to eliminate Jesse last night was purely personal, she had her mind made up before the performances even began. Very, Very immature Christina, very immature....sad (makes you look bad and very unprofessional).

Christina is a moron. You do not throw away your ace for a royal flush hand. She did it cas he was an older singer and wanted to level the paying field to shake up the show. The voice has now become American Idol to me. A Farce and a joke. I am done watching it. This is why we don't give responsibility to kids,poor decision. She knew he was going to win. THe other singers on her team are good,but not good enough to beat Jesse. What a joke this show has become. Ger rid of Christina and I will come back.

Not here to attack any of the judges on a personal level, but to me Christina definitely screwed up by getting rid of her best singers {Jesse Campbell}. Seems she taking the personal side aspect rather than the talent which is "THE VOICE". Just because he's not flocking all over her and doing everything she says to do isn't a reason to get rid of the person. Her team is going to lose 2yrs in a row again because of her self pride.

I disagree with Christina's decision BUT I can see where she's coming from. The other people on her team have all charted on iTunes, Jesse hasn't. Which implies to me, and to people who pay attention, his album probably wouldn't sell as well as others. Let's face it, he wasn't going to win because we can all sit here and say "it's all about the voice" all we want, but you know that isn't true. He's not someone who would be big the way the industry is currently. He's an amazing singer with a huge heart, but he's not unique. And of the four, he and Chris Mann gave the weakest performances of the night, but Chris also charted very high on iTunes two weeks ago. Did she make the right choice? I don't think so? Did she make the choice that made the most sense? Yes. Blake, on the other hand, is just an idiot. Ignoring his attacks on fans (this is not the first time this has happened) he made a plain stupid decision. If he paid attention to what people were saying, he would know that if it weren't for Vote for the Worst, his little golden child would have been gone two weeks ago. The FANS did vote for Jordis, Blake, the trolls at VFTW voted for RaeLynn. He sent home his best singer who had the best shot at winning because RaeLynn reminds him of his wife and he doesn't pay attention to what the public is saying.

I was shocked when Christina said Jesse's name, but I'm not disappointed. He is very good, but his cockiness is kind of a turn-off. I bet when she mentioned something about her team being coachable, "some more than others", I think she was refering to Jesse. There's probably some drama that happened between him and Christina during rehearsals. He kind of comes across as someone that thinks he's already made it, eventhough he really hasn't. It's a bit shocking though since he has a great voice and clearly one of the favorites. Now I kind of wish she kept the other guy (Anthony) that Jesse went against during the battle rounds.

The opera singer is good. But he sings like Josh Groban. So limited. The others are just so-so. Jesse was the star. I do not understand her decision. The pitch wasn't perfect, but the others weren't either. I just don't get it. And she has been so mean and petty lately. So condescending. So unnecessary.

Her decision made me not even want to watch the show anymore.. Best singer by far and got sent home? For what reason? Guess its up to Jermaine or Jamar or Pip. Terribly disappointed in Christina..

Next thing you know, they'll instantly eliminate Pip and Jamar or something crazy. The producers got their controversy, but it probably will come at a price.

honestly, I thought she made the wrong decision too, but I decided to see why she did. so I went through this performance with a fine tooth comb. In the chorus, he was very flat at various points Yes he an amazing voice!! but there were quite a few pitch problems so I don't think that her decision was unsubstantiated. oh great so people hate someone for not keeping them in a team.. In this business things happen. Jesse will go on to do great things without the Voice. Aguilera knows this

He wouldn't sell albums. There is nothing unique about him. So many people can sing like he did and yes, he is a good singer but he bores me every time he performs. He should have been sent home since the battle rounds. Anthony Evans was more exciting.
