Expect to see a lot of Ben Affleck’s Argo in the mainstream media as it’s about to hit theaters next month, and it’s a sure fire awards nomination magnet. Check out the latest poster with Bryan Cranston working his CIA look.

Ben Affleck’s latest winning film, Argo, is the true story about how the CIA used a covert operation during the Iranian Hostage Crisis in the late 70′s. Many biopics like this can get dull or preachy, but Affleck along with a strong script by Chris Terrio really keep the pacing brilliant in this film. The script is based on the Wired story, How the CIA Used a Fake Sci-Fi Flick to Rescue Americans from Tehran, by Joshuah Bearman

Starring: Ben Affleck, Alan Arkin, Bryan Cranston, John Goodman, Kerry Bishé, Kyle Chandler, Rory Cochrane, Christopher Denham, Tate Donovan, Clea DuVall, Victor Garber, Zeljko Ivanek, Richard Kind, Scoot McNairy, Chris Messina, Michael Parks, and Taylor Schilling.
