Bristol Palin took to her blog to counter claims that son Tripp said the word ‘faggot’ and instead said the other ‘f’ word on her ratings deprived reality show ‘Life’s A Tripp‘. You can see the video below and see what you think he actually said. I never heard the ‘f’ word end in ‘ot’ though.

In what seems life a desperate attempt for ratings for the barely watched Life’s A Tripp, Lifetime included a clip of Bristol Palin’s son using the ‘f’ word on her while she and her sister Willow giggle hysterically. If you watch the video, it appears the youngster said ‘faggot’, but Palin has jumped on her blog to clear the record that he used the other ‘f’ word on her. Oddly enough her wording says “Sadly, he used the other ‘f’ word,” which leads one to wonder which one she actually thinks is the worst one to use.
When you watch the video, it’s interesting to see when the kid says the word ‘hate’, Willow is all over him and telling him he should never use that word. Even Bristol sneaks in “God’s watching you,”, but then when he says his ‘f’ word, it appears God must not be watching as the two girls find it all very amusing. On her blog, Palin makes it sound like people are coming down on her son for using the word, but as a parent my dear, I can assure you, no one’s blaming your son for using slurs. They blame you and the people he’s around for saying it enough times for him to repeat it. Then the fact that after he says it, you wind up laughing about it.
So here’s what Bristol has to say:
As I’ve said before, I sometimes struggle to raise Tripp. However, he does NOT use slurs. On the most recent episode of Life’s a Tripp, the Huffington Post is reporting that my son said the word “f-gg-t.”
This is not true.
Let me be clear. I’m not proud of what he did say. Sadly, he used a different “f word.”
Lifetime filmed over 12 months (on and off) and they caught a moment on film that would cause any parent to be red in the face. Tripp is always surrounded by adults – around the campfires with cousins and their friends, at the shop with my dad and his snowmachine buddies. He’s apparently picked up some language that I’d prefer he not use. On national television or at home.
I do oppose gay marriage, as I’ve written about before (and the HuffPo points out). I guess the temptation to label my three year old son is just too great for the lefty papers to resist. However, one of my new Twitter followers made an excellent point.
He tweeted that the left tries to hold my three year old son more accountable than their adult spokespeople.
Showrunner Matt Lutz is now running around trying to confirm what Bristol wrote, but again, watch the video and see what you think. Does that ‘f’ word really end in ‘ot’? At least this got the show some attention after all. The last big mention of it was when Lifetime pushed it into a later slot to fill it with Dance Moms repeats which pulled much better ratings.
