Did you ever expect this to happen to a ‘Vampire Diaries’ actress? On June 7, Shannon was arrested for sending letters containing poison to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and President Barack Obama. Talk about a twist-ending!
When Shannon Richardson was charged and arrested on June 7 as the person who sent ricin-laced letters to New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and President Obama, we said to ourselves, “Boy, she looks familiar.” Turns we had seen her before — on some of our favorite TV shows!
Before becoming the person who tried to poison political leaders, Shannon, 35, had small parts on several prominent television shows. She even appeared alongside Nina Dobrev and company as a student in The Vampire Diaries!
Shannon’s IMDB page also credits her with a part as one of the zombies in The Walking Dead, a lawyer in Franklin & Bash, and again as a student in Sandra Bullock’s The Blind Side.
Judging by her roles, or rather the size of them, it’s safe to say Shannon was a struggling actress, unable to break out.
