Once again, Ryan Murphy has another American Horror Story: Asylum teaser that Ascends expectations again and has a very Japanese horror feel to it. Big question is when will he have Adam Levine in one of these teases?

Ryan Murphy has releases the fifth teaser trailer for his American Horror Story: Asylum called Ascend which has a nice Japanese horror feel to it. Each one stands on its own quite well and then putting them together (as they are all down below) it really shows what the upcoming season will be like on FX starring Jessica Lange, Adam Levine, Chloe Sevigny, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, James Cromwell, and Joseph Fiennes. Murphy’s been putting out more on this show through his Twitter than Glee and NeNe Leakes The New Normal combined! That definitely says a lot about his proving that this show will be much better than last season.

This latest teaser comes with the caption “Whereever you are, don’t look down”, and I’ve always hated going down basement stairs where the backs are open…this just re-instills those fears all over so thank you Mr. Murphy. It features the White Nun that popped up a few teasers back going up a staircase with another person/creature coming down them on the bottom side. Each one of these just adds a great element and whoever’s idea this was, bravo to them for some very creative marketing.

American Horror Story: Asylum is back on FX in October. I think many of us are looking forward to seeing what this one scares up. From the look of these five teasers below, Murphy has tapped into what makes our skin crawl…
