Now that ‘The Amazing Spider-Man‘ new trailer has been critiqued and watched over and over, here’s some great stills from it to give you a closer and much better look at the Lizard, glowing webshooters and more.

So for all of you that stayed up late to catch the new trailer for Marc Webb’s reboot of ‘Spider-Man’, you finally got to see the Lizard…mostly in quick pieces and shadows, but you know what to expect. We’ve got a bunch of stills from the trailer so you can really look close at the Lizard and those glowing webshooters since the action in the trailer was so fast you could only catch glimpses. On closer inspection, I think many of you will like what they’ve done. The story still seems to be a mystery if they’re going to go more indepth or just follow the usual one with much better 3D effects has yet to be seen. Visually, it looks great though.

And of course, these are all hi-res, so you can push anywhere you want on them to get bigger and better.

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father’s former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.
