Ryan Murphy has been dropping bits of clues for the past two weeks about his upcoming American Horror Story: Asylum, but the latest clip really gives plenty including more Adam Levine, Chloe Sevigny, Zachary Quinto and Evan Peters. Check it out along with more new images below.

Many of the clues from Ryan Murphy’s 12 teaser trailers have slipped into the latest American Horror Story: Asylum clip below which include nearly the entire cast of Adam Levine, Chloe Sevigny, Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters (who looks like he’s in some awful pain), Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Joseph Fiennes, Jenna Lee Dewan-Tatum and James Cromwell. The sewing machine (Teaser 12) doesn’t appear in this one although tips from nearly the eleven others do. Adam Levine’s character starts things off and we see how he starts in the modern era, but the camera he uses takes him to a vintage tinge showing that he’ll be heading back in time, which makes us wonder just how Levine and Jenna Dewan’s characters will fit into the overall story of the Briarcliff Institution if it’s set in 1964. We already know Bloody Face (above) has a tender spot for Levine, and from the way it looks and sounds, he and his bride will be stepping into the hospital as part of their tourist site seeing and they’ll go back in time.
From what I’m hearing, the Maroon 5 frontman might not get out of Ryan Murphy’s world alive, but he might be back for Season 3. With 17 Emmy nominations and the way FX if promoting the heck out of this, don’t be shocked to hear it renewed already. Murphy has already said he knows what will happen in Season 3 too.
Sister Eunice (Lily Rabe) was featured in the Special Delivery teaser or a reasonable facsimile of her was. It’s a great image of her with her eyes shut and buckets or gore around her bed while an arm comes out from under it and then her eyes open. She might be that character that’s oblivious at first but then realizes what is going on around her. She might be able to save Channing Tatum’s wife, and we hope Adam Levine.
The clues concerning Lana (Sarah Paulson), Kit (Evan Peters) Shelly (Chloe Sevigny), and Dr. Thresdson (Zacahry Quinto) are wonderfully vague, but we know that Lana’s girlfriend will be admitting her into the asylum after being blackmailed to be exposed as a lesbian. Kit just looks like he’ll be suffering through a lot, but since Peters played evil/good so well last season, I can’t see Murphy wasting his bad side. Quinto will be playing a doctor who’s very forward thinking in this field, but he’ll be going up against Jessica Lange’s nasty nun so his character might bite the bullet like last season.
I can’t wait to see how off the rails Lange takes her character, but as she said in the EW piece, if her character hadn’t been so twisted, she probably wouldn’t have come back. Gotta love that. AHSA will be back on FX October 17, 2012.
