Ryan Murphy has given us so many creative teaser trailers so when we get an actual full one for American Horror Story: Asylum you barely know how to take it all in. We’ve been spoonfed such little pieces, getting a full one is such a treat and this one features a lot of Adam Levine and Evan Peters.
Ryan Murphy has us spoiled giving out so many tips in his over thirty mini-trailers for American Horror Story Asylum, and this full one seamlessly strings together much of them while also giving us some real plotlines including Adam Levine, Jenna Dewan-Tatum (Channing Tatum’s wife), Evan Peters, Zachary Quinto, Lily Rabe and Jessica Lange.
As you’ll see in the trailer below, we get the full idea of how Adam Levine (The Lovers) work into the story as they’re on honeymoon and checking out scary places like Briarcliff Manor and wind up getting much more than they bargained for. We even get to see Bloody Face surface from the shadows on the couple. Murphy uses the ole sex takes you to the bad places, plus he definitely gives quite the homage to A Clockwork Orange as he puts Evan Peter through all sorts of tortures this season. Last season it was more emotional torture, but this year it gets real physical for him.
Many of the storylines sound intriguing like Sarah Paulson’s playing a journalist who’s committed by her lesbian lover. Since this is during the mid-century, her girlfriend is forced to do this or else she will be destroyed by it being revealed by Jessica Lange’s character.
Jessica Lange shows off a little of her crazy side and Joseph Fiennes gives us an idea of how sexy a priest can be, but then you pay for thinking those types of thoughts! Anyway, here’s a bunch of new images from the upcoming season that I’m very much looking forward to after the disappointing end of last season. Only ten more days till the Asylum is ready for business.
The upcoming season of American Horror Story: Asylum stars Jessica Lange, Adam Levine, Clea Duvall, Frances Conroy, Mark Consuelos, Lizzie Brochere, Franka Potente, Chloe Sevigny, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, James Cromwell, and Joseph Fiennes and will kick in October 17, 2012.
