It’s been a Ryan Murphy, Adam Levine American Horror Story: Asylum overload of goodness this week with the latest promo trailer which introduces everyone in the cast in a rather ingenious way. Check it out below along with a bunch of even newer images from the show.

We thank the Murphy camp for letting us know just when they’re going so we can jump right on it. Today was the only day that it didn’t go up before noon, but with this much marketing going, it’s more than fine.

EW got this exclusive promo clip that is very inventive in introducing the main cast laying on beds and moving from one to another head to toe. Yesterday saw all of the main character photos come out as we reported, but these images from the promo above and below are very surreal and Jessica Lange looks like she did back in the 80′s when she starred in Frances.

Its first season, which just racked up a whopping seventeen Primetime Emmy nominations so Murphy is determined to pull in more with all the brilliant marketing they’ve been doing.

The upcoming season of American Horror Story: Asylum stars Jessica Lange, Adam Levine, Franka Potente, Chloe Sevigny, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, James Cromwell, and Joseph Fiennes and will kick in October 17, 2012. We’ve also learned that it’ll include aliens, Nazis and of course otherworldly spirits.
