‘Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter’ Chops Up Some New Images

‘Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter‘ isn’t the biggest summer movie of 2012, but it’s definitely one we’re looking forward to seeing so check out some of the new images that have come straight from good old Abe’s axe.

It’s crazy, over the top, ridiculous, but ‘Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter‘ just looks like so much summer fun. This is definitely a great film to set between the release of ‘The Avengers‘ and ‘The Dark Knight Rises‘ and ‘The Amazing Spider-Man‘. It’s not been over the top marketing, but everything they’ve put out looks amazing and having Tim Burton as producer doesn’t hurt either. Benjamin Walker, who stars as honest Abe described the film. “It’s told through the structure of Lincoln’s actual life. You not only see these huge fight scenes and great moments of drama, but you get sort of the greatest hits of Lincoln’s life, from the mysterious death of his mother through the Gettysburg address,” says Walker. “You get a portrait of this man, as well as a thriller.” It definitely has makes me think of ‘Buffy, the Vampire Slayer’ as we see Abe learn his craft and realize he’s got a natural gift for it.
