Best Horror Movies Ever

Best horror movies ever has been getting a lot of e-mails from people asking us what are some of our favorite best horror movies ever. That’s a tough one since there’s so many that fall into our list that I’m sure some would question or disagree with…but we love a good argument about taste and what makes the best horror movies ever for people.

So we at best movies ever are devising our list of the best horror films ever that we can think of off the top of our heads and add to them as we go. Enjoy and let us know your thoughts or horror films that we left off, should have left off or whatever else you all can think of.

There’s nothing more exciting than having a new horror film brought to our attention that we may never have heard of or didn’t really give a chance.

The Strangers
Yeah, we know that it go vilified by the horror community, but something about it was very gripping and forgetting that we were watching Liv Tyler get terrorized said something about The Strangers, at least to me.
The Brood 1979
This is another film that best horror movies ever had heard so much about and finally got to check it out last year. The Brood is a typical of the 70′s films with a slow start but it makes you want to see what will happen next which is something we love.
May was one of those nice surprises that best horror movies ever stumbled onto late one night on FearNet (love that channel!). It’s so not what you would think if you judge it by the movie poster, it’s so much better for a movie that can make you like the main character and still cringe at her actions.

Audition
Audition is that film that everyone tells you about that will freak you out and then when you first start watching it, you don’t know what all the fuss was about, until it keeps growing and making you wonder where it’s going. Then when you see where it’s taken you, it’s too late to turn back!

REC
This is another foreign film that got made into an American film from the same filmmakers and once again, the original is so much better. REC is that great horror lovers movie that makes you squeeze back in your chair since it feels like the monsters are going to jump out of your screen, and if you’ve got a big screen, it’s even worse!
