Ridley Scott’s ‘Prometheus’ Movie Images Hit

With Ridley Scott’s ‘Prometheus’ movie hitting next June, the marketing stir has begun, and there was even a leaked teaser trailer that was quickly pulled by Fox so they know the interest is building.

‘Prometheus‘ is just one of the films that are making summer 2012 look rather promising…along with ‘The Avengers’, ‘The Dark Knight Rises‘ and more. ‘Prometheus’ has been hidden away, but Ridley Scott did reveal that the last eight minutes of Prometheus will “evolve into a pretty good DNA of the Alien one.” For all of us ‘Alien‘ fans, Sigourney Weaver will not be doing a cameo though. That’s been a huge speculation and Scott has been quick to correct it.

As you can see in these images, we’re given a visual idea of what the film will look like along with who is playing what character. The footage that we got to see at Comic-Con was pretty sweet, and it definitely felt more in the vein of the original ‘Alien’ which set a nice horror without so much action like ‘Aliens’ brought with it. If you look closely, you’ll even see what looks like egg forms, which only prove the prequel talk everyone has said ‘Prometheus‘ would be.

Just having our original Lizbeth Salander and Michael Fassbinder in this movie is enough, but the cast is pretty sweet surrounding them. Most guys of all walks, will agree about Fassbinder though. He’s that guy that many het boys would drunkenly admit to if it had to be one guy, it would probably be him.

‘Prometheus’ will be hitting theaters in 3D June 8, 2012. Just after all the big Memorial Day hoopla.
