‘We Need To Talk About Kevin‘ has made a huge buzz on the film festival circuit with very good reason, and the US trailer has finally surfaced which you can check out below.

Tilda Swinton can go from one extreme role to another, and if you saw ‘The Deep End‘ where she plays a mother struggling with son issues, you’ll know how she tackles another mom with troubled son role in ‘We Need To Talk About Kevin‘. I got to check this out at Cannes this year, and I am so looking forward to this one hitting theaters (sadly only limited) this December. As you’ll see in the trailer and movie clip below, this film packs quite a little punch and John C. Reilly does some really strong acting here. I mean he always does, but this is a different type role for him and paired up with Swinton brings out the best in him.

The film is based on the novel by Lionel Shriver and won Best Picture at the London Film Festival. It’s one of the very few films I’m looking forward to seeing again. I think it will have a really good life on dvd/blu-ray, but we can only hope that it’s a surprise sleeper of the season that gets a wider audience as it deserves it.
