Simon Cowell rejoices as Marcus Canty doesn’t make it to the finals with Chris Rene, Melanie Amaro and Josh Krajcik.
Rachel Crow fans can feel some vindication as the singer who edged out the fan favorite, Marcus Canty, is sent packing after tonight’s result show. Simon Cowell is quite giddy as his other strong performer Melanie Amaro has made it to the finals with Chris Rene and Josh Krajcik. It’s great to see true talent making it to the end, unlike Cowell’s previous show ‘American Idol’. I’m speaking of last season when Scotty ‘Howdy Doody boy/man’ McCreery won over much more talented performers.
On last nights semifinal performances, judge Nicole Scherzinger was greeted with some boos as Rachel Crow fans let her know they haven’t forgotten her unwillingness to send Marcus Canty home and let voters make the choice. For some reason when Paula did that we could understand since it was her own groups, but with Nicole, it just felt wimpy and more of a slap at Simon. Unlike NBC’s ‘The Voice’, these judges can be harsh, but not always in true honesty. I speak of LA Reid, who definitely knows how to play the mean game of sniping at Melanie Amaro for no good reason other than hoping that his boys stay in the game. Well now he’s got a true talent of Chris Rene to focus on, and last night, it felt like Reid had given up the ghost on Canty with the music choices and over the top background dancers surrounding his Bobby Brown wannabe. I was shocked when Nicole was praising Marcus on both performances which were so lackluster, but thankfully, we always have Simon to tell the truth that we in the audience are thinking…while trying to avoid being blinded by those damn spotlights!
Anyway, after being in the bottom two for the past couple weeks, everyone knew it was Canty’s time to go, and go he does.
Onward to a great finale with three amazing talents. I’m still thinking that it could wind up being Melanie and Josh, but Chris Rene truly has that likability factor so we’ll see.

Marcus had no say over Rachael being sent home. So far as you statement about Bobby Brown that R&B singing you dont have to like it but it is what is. Your girl is as boring as h-ll and Chris is only left because he got the sympathy vote. end of show for me.

I am extremely mad! I think that Marcus Canty is the BEST! I love him so much! When i heard that he was being sent off i balled into tears. I hope he makes a comeback and is better than everyone!

How is this posted before it happened. this show is a scam. Chris Rene cant sing so why is he on the show? because of his story? so what everyone has a story . i know now that this show is a joke and wont waste my time watching this anymore.
